Camelot is committed to website accessibility and this website has been built in line with accessibility best practice, and to meet the aims of the Level Two (AA) recommendations made by the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (version 1.0), and some of those from Level Three (AAA). To ensure that we meet this level of accessibility we have worked closely with AbilityNet, a charitable organisation specialising in website accessibility.
If you're looking for practical accessibility help with changing your browser settings such as text size, using access keys and other accessibility features we have on our site visit the Accessibility help page.
Diversity of our web users
At Camelot we want to be as inclusive as we can. In designing this site we have considered the needs of players with a range of impairments including; vision, hearing, mobility, reading difficulties, learning difficulties and for people whose second language is English.
Creating and testing our sites for accessibility
To ensure that we consider both accessibility best practice and the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, we have created our own accessibility guidelines, and these are used in the design, development and ongoing maintenance of our websites.
Where possible we involve disabled users in testing our new sites and we always test our sites with adaptive technologies including screen readers, magnifiers and voice recognition software. We also regularly check the accessibility of our sites as part of an ongoing development process.
As an innovative organisation we are always looking at new ways to enhance and develop our websites. As part of this we will ensure we continue to consider the accessibility of new features of our site as they are developed.
We are also working with external suppliers who provide additional content for our sites to encourage them to enhance the accessibility of their material.
We always welcome feedback on the accessibility and usability of the site, so if you have any comments or issues with using our site please email us at email@example.com.Back to top
