Play Style, Play Symbols and determining a Valid Winning Play for Treat Shop
A Play Number is given to each Play, and this can be found at the top right of the Game Play Window.
At the start of a Play, the Player is presented with a Game Play Window displaying on the right, a 6 x 6 Treat Shop grid (the 'Grid'). In each section of the Grid is either a) a cola bottle, a licorice allsort, a rhubarb and custard, a hum bug, a jelly ring, a jelly bean and a shrimp sweet (the 'Sweets') or b) two pear drop sweets with a monetary amount (the 'Instant Prize').
To the left of the Grid are six gold squares, each numbered from top to bottom one to six. Above the Grid are six gold squares, each containing a letter from A to F left to right. Underneath the Grid are the instructions: 'Click eight buttons on the till to reveal your co-ordinates. Collect Sweets or Instant Prizes and fill the prize tables to win.'
To the top left of the Game Play Window is displayed a chocolate bar prize table consisting of seven rows ('Collect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table'). Each row consists of three identical faded out representations of the different sweets and a monetary amount to the right of each row. Below the 'Collect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table' is the instruction: 'COLLECT 3 LIKE SWEETS'. To the right of the 'Collect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table' is a Sweet Jar (the 'Connect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table') consisting of a red arrow directing upwards, 5 transparent boxes, the two top boxes of which each have a monetary amount to the right of them. Below the 'Connect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table' is the instruction: 'CONNECT 3 LIKE SWEETS IN A ROW OR COLUMN'.
To the bottom left of the Game Play Window is displayed a cash register ('the Register') consisting of twelve buttons ('the Buttons') each with a pound motif ('the Pound Motifs'). To the left of the Register is the goes left indicator.
To commence a Play, the Player must position the cursor over one of the Buttons and click. On doing so, the Button will animate down and the pound sign motif will no longer be displayed on the Button. At the same time the Register will present a letter and a number ('the co-ordinates') in the window of the Register and the Goes Left Indicator will decrease by one. The co-ordinates displayed on the Register will correspond to the numbers alongside the Grid, which will highlight Blue to show the Player the co-ordinates selected. The Sweet in the section of the Grid corresponding to the selected co-ordinates will leave the Grid and will populate one of the spots in the corresponding row of the 'Collect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table'. At the same time the Sweets above the collected Sweet, will move down to replace that Sweet. If the Player collects 3 identical Sweets, the corresponding row in the 'Collect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table' will animate and the monetary amount for that row will highlight to indicate that the Player has won that amount. If the Player lands on one of the Instant Prizes in the Grid, it will be collected to the right of the Register and stamp marked to indicate that the Player has won that Prize Instantly.
If, once the Sweets above a collected Sweet have moved down, there are 3 identical Sweets next to each other in a horizontal or vertical line in the Grid, these Sweets will leave the Grid and be collected in the 'Connect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table' filling the bottom of the jar with layers of Sweets collected. If the Player fills three or more layers of Sweets in the 'Connect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table', the highest winning layer of Sweets will animate and the corresponding Prize will highlight to indicate the Player has won that amount.
A Player's Play ends, when he has pressed all eight Buttons. A message will appear in the Game Play Window indicating the amount the Player has won, if any, and instructing him to click 'FINISH' to complete the game.
The Player of a Play will, providing the requirements of the Rules and these Procedures are met, win a prize if having completed one or more rows in the 'Collect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table' and/or completed more than three layers of sweets in the 'Connect 3 Like Sweets Prize Table' and/or collected an Instant Prize shall, subject to the Rules, be entitled to a Prize as detailed in the table below.
