At the start of a Play, a Game Play Window displaying the representation of a Scrabble board (the 'Board') is shown. The Board displays mostly green squares with dark blue squares, red squares, light blue squares and pink squares also being displayed. The Board also contains 7 words in white and black letters (the 'Starting Words').
To the right of the Board is a table which has 7 rows of green tiles, with a monetary amount to the right of each row (the 'Word Prize Table'). Each row represents one of the Starting Words displayed on the Board, and has the same number of tiles and letters. Above the Word Prize Table is the instruction: 'Complete the words to win'.
Below the Word Prize Table is an area containing four monetary amounts on green tiles (the 'Instant Prize Table'). The four monetary amounts are: £5, £20, £50 and £200 (the 'Instant Prizes'). Above the green tiles is the instruction: 'Reveal a tile showing an Instant Prize to win that amount instantly.'
Below the Instant Prize Table is an area containing a) 3 blank tile motifs; b) a dark blue triangle and a red triangle to the left of the blank tile motifs; c) the monetary prize amount of £30 to the right of the blank tile motifs and; d) the instruction: 'Get 3 triples to win £30' (the 'Triple Prize Table').
Below the Triple Prize Table is an area containing a) 2 sets of 2 blank tile motifs; b) a light blue triangle and a pink triangle to the left of the 2 sets of 2 blank tile motifs; c) the words 'EXTRA GO' to the right of the blank tile motifs; and d) the instruction: 'Get 2 doubles for an extra go' (the "Extra Go Area").
Below the Board are 7 blank white tiles (the 'Play Tiles') on a rack (the 'Tile Selector') and the words '7 GOES' (the 'Goes Left Indicator').
To start a Play, the Player must click one of the Play Tiles in the Tile Selector. The selected Play Tile will turn over to reveal a letter, and the Goes Left Indicator will decrease by one. The selected Play Tile will duplicate and white tiles with the selected letter will be placed on all of the corresponding letters in the Starting Words on the Board, and on all the corresponding tiles in the Word Prize Table. The selected Play Tile will be replaced with a new Play Tile in the Tile Selector. If the Player reveals all letters in a row in the Word Prize Table, that row will animate to indicate that the Player has won the prize for that row.
If a Play Tile is placed on the Board on a dark blue or red square, a corresponding dark blue or red triangle will appear in the top right of the Play Tile in the relevant Starting Word on the Board and a duplicate tile containing the letter will be displayed on a blank tile in the Triple Prize Table. If the Player collects 3 tiles in the Triple Prize Table the prize amount of '£30' in the Triple Prize Table will expand in size and the section will animate to indicate that the Player has won £30.
If a Play Tile is placed on the Board on a light blue or pink square, a corresponding light blue or pink triangle will appear in the bottom right of the Play Tile in the relevant Starting Word on the Board and a duplicate tile containing the letter will be displayed on a blank tile in the Extra Go Area. If the Player collects 2 tiles in the Extra Go Area, the word 'USED' will appear beneath the two populated blank tile motifs and the words 'EXTRA GO' will cover the Goes Left Indicator to show the Player that he has been awarded an extra go. To continue, the Player must click one of the Play Tiles in the Tile Selector. The Goes Left Indicator will then return to the number of goes left the Player had before he took his extra go. The Player can be awarded a maximum of 2 extra goes in a Game.
If the Player selects a Play Tile that displays a monetary amount, the Play Tile will move into the green tile with the corresponding prize amount in the Instant Prize Table, the prize amount will change to black and the Instant Prize Table will animate to indicate that the Player has won that Instant Prize.
A Player's Play ends when he has used all of his goes. A message will appear at the bottom of the Game Play Window indicating what amount the Player has won, if any, and instructing him to click 'FINISH' to complete the Game.Try now
