What’s changed?

Thunderball has changed and now includes an amazing top prize of £500,000!

We’ve also made some other changes to the game:

  • An extra draw on Fridays for even more chances to win
  • You can now pick five main numbers from 1-39 and still one Thunderball from 1-14
  • A new prize of £3 for matching just the Thunderball

The one change we didn't make is to the price - it's still £1 per play!

How to play

How to play

Playing Thunderball is really easy; you can now choose five main numbers from 1-39 and still one Thunderball from 1-14 - or pick a Lucky Dip for a randomly generated line of numbers. As we have introduced an extra draw on Fridays, you have the choice to play up to three times a week; Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays.

Five main numbers are drawn, along with 1 Thunderball. Win prizes simply by matching the Thunderball only, or by matching one or more main numbers plus the Thunderball. If you match 5 numbers plus the Thunderball you win the top prize of £500,000.

Did you know that you can play Thunderball by Direct Debit? All you need to do is select 'Continuous' under the 'number of weeks' drop down menu on your Thunderball play slip and follow the step-by-step guide. Once you've set up a monthly Direct Debit, we'll do all the hard work for you!
