To ensure your National Lottery emails reach you in the future, please add play@play.national-lottery.co.uk and admin@national-lottery.co.uk to your Address Book or Safe Senders' List. This is necessary because some email account providers block emails from senders whose email addresses are not in the recipient's Address Book or on their Safe Senders' List in order to prevent you from receiving unwanted spam email.

We have provided instructions on how to do this for the most commonly used email providers.

Hotmail

  1. Open our email containing the address you want to add.
  2. Click on the 'Add to contacts' link besides the address you want to add.
  3. The contact address will appear in your Contacts list which can be located on the left-hand side of your email inbox.

Outlook

  1. Open our email containing the address you want to add.
  2. Right click on the address in the 'from' field.
  3. Select 'Add to Contacts'.
  4. Enter any information you wish on the address card and click 'Save and close'.

Google Mail

  1. Open our email containing the address you want to add.
  2. Hover over the email address (play@play.national-lottery.co.uk) in the 'from' field and a box will appear - copy the detailed address from that box.
  3. Now click on 'Contacts' located on the left hand side of the Google Mail inbox.
  4. On the new page click on 'Add to "My Contacts"'and type in the information you copied.
  5. Press 'Enter' and the contact will be saved.

Yahoo Mail/ BT Yahoo

  1. Open our email containing the address you want to add.
  2. Besides that address in the 'From' field you'll see an icon with a green plus sign. Click on this sign.
  3. This will take you to a new screen where you can enter any information you wish on the address card.
  4. Finally click 'Add to Address Book'.

AOL

  1. Open our email containing the address you want to add.
  2. Hover over the email address (play@play.national-lottery.co.uk) in the 'from' field and a box will appear.
  3. Within that box click on 'Edit'.
  4. Enter any information you wish on the Address Card and click 'Save'.
