When will my Subscription start? |
Your subscription start date depends on when your subscription was processed. Please allow at least 15 working days to set up the Direct Debit instruction with your bank.
Please note that your subscription will not start until payment has been received and funds have been cleared.
We recommend that until you receive a Subscription Confirmation stating the date your subscription starts, you should continue to play by your normal method. |

What happens if I win? |
Prizes of less than £5,000 will be automatically paid back into the bank account from where the Direct Debit is set up, and you will be notified by letter. A cheque will be sent for prizes of £5,000 or more, up to and including £50,000.
We will contact you for prizes over £50,000 to arrange a visit to one of our Regional Centres to claim.
A Prize Claim Form must be completed for all prizes over £10,000.
Whatever you win, The National Lottery will only reveal your identity as a winner if you give written consent or if we have to by law. The National Lottery Subscription Service is completely confidential - we will not pass any details of your subscription on to any other organisation unless you authorise us to do so. |

Why haven't I received confirmation of my Subscription? |
From time to time, subscriptions can be delayed. This can happen if, for example:
a) Your Direct Debit payment is rejected by your bank. b) National Lottery Account holders - you will normally be sent an email with a link to view your Subscription Confirmation online. Sometimes your own email can block our notification which will prevent you from receiving it. You will need to change your settings on your email account.
Where possible, we will try to contact you as soon as we can to resolve any issues, so that we can process your subscription. To check the status of your online subscription application, Sign In to your National Lottery Account, go to My Account and select My Subscriptions. Your subscription will not start until your payment has been received and funds have been cleared. |

Why do my Subscriptions Direct Debit payments differ each month? |
The monetary amount will vary depending on the number of Wednesdays and Saturdays in a particular month, as all Direct Debit collections are taken from your bank account on the same date every month and not every 4 weeks. |

Why can I no longer purchase a fixed term subscription? |
We have simplified the offering within our Subscription service. This now means you can play by continuous Direct Debit only. However there are other ways to play if you would prefer to play for a few weeks at a time. For example, if you prefer to pay by Debit Card, you can play online for anything from a draw at a time to 8 weeks in advance. |
