Game details

Game Name: MONOPOLY Riches

Game Price: £5.00

There is a 1 in 2.37 overall chance of winning a Prize on each Play of the Game. The expected prize payout percentage for this game is 74.00%.

This Game is a game of chance. The outcome of a Play in the Game is pre-determined by Camelot's Computer System at the point of purchase. You are not required to exercise any skill or judgement to win a Prize.

You also acknowledge that the MONOPOLY Riches Instant Win Game is a representation of MONOPOLY only and is not intended to replicate the original game.

How to play and win

Each Play has its own Play Number - this can be found on the Game outcome screen once the Game has been finished, in the “My Games” section of Your Account if You bought the Play via Your Account, and in the confirmation email sent to You if You bought the Play via Pingit.

At the start of a Play You are presented with a Game Play Window displaying the following MONOPOLY tokens: a cat, a hat, a car, a ship, a dog, a rubber ducky, a T-Rex and a penguin. Below the tokens is the message "Choose your game token". You must choose a token to start the Game.

After choosing Your token, You will be presented with a bird's eye view of the MONOPOLY board (the 'Board') with Your chosen token ('Your Token') and the opponent's token (the 'Opponent's Token') on the 'GO' square (located in the bottom right hand corner of the Board). In the centre of the Board are the Chance cards and Community Chest cards. On the left of the Board is a panel containing a visual representation of Your Token, labelled 'Your Token', and below Your Token are the words "Rolls Left: 6" (the 'Rolls Left Counter'). Below the Rolls Left Counter are two dice ('Your Dice'), one displaying a number of pips between 1 and 6 and the other displaying a multiplier value (the 'Multiplier Value'). Below Your Dice is a visual representation of the Opponent's Token, and below the Opponent's Token are two dice each displaying a number of pips between 1 and 6 (the 'Opponent's Dice'). The Opponent's Dice will not feature a multiplier value. On the right of the Board are eight rows, each row displaying three colour cards relating to different properties displayed on the Board (the 'Prize Table'). Each row has an associated monetary amount (the 'Prizes'). Below the Prize Table is a panel labelled 'Houses' displaying three house silhouettes, one displaying a Prize (the 'Houses Panel'). Below the Houses Panel is a panel displaying one electricity utility symbol and one water works utility symbol silhouettes and the words 'Prize Game' (the 'Prize Game Panel'). Below the Prize Game Panel is a panel displaying three cards, two of the cards displaying Prizes (the 'Rent Panel').

To start a Play, You must select Your Dice. On doing so, the Rolls Left Counter will decrease by 1 and Your Dice will then animate and reveal a number of pips and the Multiplier Value. The number of pips will then be multiplied by the Multiplier Value to determine the number of moves Your Token will make in this roll. This number will be displayed in the centre of the board. Your Token will then move this number of times around the Board.

After each of Your rolls, the Opponent's Dice will automatically roll and the Opponent's Token will move around the Board the number of squares that reflect the number of pips shown on the Opponent's Dice. Once the opponent's move is complete, Your Dice will animate to indicate that it is Your turn to roll.

When Your Token lands on a square after moving around the Board, one of the following will happen:

- If Your Token lands on a property, the relevant property card will be displayed and move into the Prize Table, populating a section of the row in the Prize Table that matches the colour of that property. A SOLD label will appear in a diagonal line on the square Your token has landed on to indicate that property has been collected. If You complete a row in the Prize Table by collecting the required number of property cards and/or bonus property cards of that colour, that row and the prize amount for that row will highlight gold to indicate that You have won that amount. MONOPOLY money to the value of the Prize won will then be placed in the middle of the Board. A bonus property card is a property card which populates the Prize Table according to the colour of the card, but is not directly linked to one of the property squares on the Board. Bonus property cards can only be collected from the Hi-Lo Mini Game, the Free Parking Mini Game, and the Jail Mini Game. Collecting a bonus property card will not cause a SOLD sign to appear on the Board, because You have not collected any specific property on the Board.

A spinner will then appear, displaying an 'Extra roll' section, a section containing a green house motif (a 'House') and an 'End of turn' section. If the spinner stops on the 'Extra Roll' Section, an 'Extra Roll' Card will appear and move to the left of the Board, above Your Dice. This will grant You an additional roll of Your Dice and will not decrease the Rolls Left Counter. If the spinner stops on the section displaying a House, You will receive a House which will populate a section in the Houses Panel. If You populate all three silhouettes in the Houses Panel, the Houses Panel will turn gold to indicate that You have won the Prize displayed on the Houses Panel. MONOPOLY money to the value of the Prize won will then be placed in the middle of the Board. If the Spinner stops on the 'End of turn' section, Your turn will end and Your Opponents will begin.

- If Your Token lands on a train station, a spinner will appear with three sections, each labelled with the names of the other three train stations around the Board. The spinner will stop on one of the sections, and Your Token will be moved to the station displayed on the section. On landing on the new station You will receive an Extra Roll Card, granting You one additional roll and the Rolls Left Counter will not decrease.

- If Your token lands on a COMMUNITY CHEST or CHANCE square, You will receive an Extra Roll Card and the top card on the COMMUNITY CHEST or CHANCE card pile will turn over and move into the centre of the Board. The COMMUNITY CHEST or CHANCE card will show one of the following outcomes:

a) You have received a property card. You must select the 'CONTINUE' button to return to the main Game. The relevant property card will then display and move into the Prize Table, populating one slot in the section of the row in the Prize Table that matches the colour of that property. A SOLD sign will then appear in the square of the relevant property you received from the COMMUNITY CHEST or CHANCE card to indicate that You have collected that property; or

b) You have won an instant prize (an 'Instant Prize'). You must select the CONTINUE button to return to the main Game. The amount won will appear on the Community Chest/Chance square that You landed on, indicating that You have won this amount. MONOPOLY money to the value of the Instant Prize will be placed in the middle of the Board.

- If Your token lands on the Income Tax or Super Tax square, the amount displayed on the square will be highlighted in gold and displayed on the square that You landed on to indicate that You have won that amount. MONOPOLY money to the value of the Instant Prize will be placed in the middle of the Board.

- If Your token lands on the 'GO' square after having been round the Board at least once, You will be presented with the 'Hi-Lo Mini Game'. A new Game Play Window will open labelled Hi-Lo, and will display the message "Will your next card be higher or lower? The lowest card value is 60 and the highest card value is 400". Below this message are two cards, one face up displaying a colour and a 'MONOPOLY Money' value, and the other face down. Next to the face down card are two smaller, faded cards which are also face down. Below the face up card are 'HIGHER' and 'LOWER' buttons. Below the three face down cards are three boxes, which will show a randomly generated selection of items which could consist of an instant win prize amount, a bonus property card or a utility card, each labelled 'PRIZE'.

You must guess whether You think the MONOPOLY Money value of the face down card directly next to the face up card will be higher or lower than the MONOPOLY Money value displayed on face up card. You should select either HIGHER or LOWER button accordingly.

If You select HIGHER and the number that appears on the face down card directly next the the face up card is higher in value than the number displayed on the face up card, or if You select LOWER and the number that appears on the face down card directly next the the face up card is lower in value than the number displayed on the face up card, then a green tick will appear on the newly turned over card to indicate that You have made a correct selection and the box displaying the Prize directly below the card will animate to indicate that You have won that Prize. If You have won a bonus property card or utility card, that bonus property card or utility card will populate either the Prize Table or the Prize Game Panel accordingly.

If You select HIGHER and the number that appears on the face down card directly next the the face up card is lower in value than the number displayed on the face up card, or if You select LOWER and the number that appears on the face down card directly next to the face up card is higher in value than the number displayed on the face up card, then a red cross will appear on the newly turned over card to indicate that You have made an incorrect selection, and the box displaying a prize directly below the card will fade to indicate that You have not won that Prize. You must make a guess for each of the three face down cards. On completing all three guesses, a CONTINUE button will appear above the cards, which You must select to return to the main game. On returning to the main game, if You won an Instant Prize in the Hi-Lo game, that Instant Prize will be displayed in the 'FREE PARKING' square to indicate that You have won that amount. MONOPOLY money to the value of the Instant Prize will be placed in the middle of the Board.

- If Your Token lands on the 'FREE PARKING' square, You will be presented with the 'Free Parking' mini game. A new Game Play Window will open labelled Free Parking, and will display the message "Tap to SPIN for your chance to collect prizes." Below the message is a parking meter containing two concentric wheels. Each wheel is divided into sections displaying either an Instant Prize amount, an extra roll, a bonus property card, a utility card or the message 'No win'. At the bottom of the parking meter is a green 'SPIN' button, and an arrow pointing at sections on the two concentric wheels. You must select SPIN to continue. On doing so, the two wheels will spin before coming to rest. The arrow will then be pointing at a section on each wheel, both of which will highlight gold to indicate that You have collected the prizes displayed in each section, if any. If You collect an Instant Prize amount, on returning to the main screen that Instant Prize amount will be displayed on the Free Parking square to indicate that You have won that amount. MONOPOLY money to the value of the Instant Prize will be placed in the middle of the Board. If You collect an extra roll, on returning to the main game an Extra Roll card will appear and move to the left of the Board, granting You one additional roll. If You collect a bonus property card, the bonus property card will populate the Prize Table accordingly. If You collect a utility card, the utility card will populate the Prize Game Panel accordingly. Once You have completed the 'Free Parking' mini game', a CONTINUE button will appear, which You must select to return to the main game.

- If Your Token lands on the 'GO TO JAIL' square, or If Your Token lands on the 'JUST VISITING' square, You will be presented with the 'Get Out Of Jail' mini game. A new Game Play Window will open labelled 'Get Out Of Jail', and will display the message "Roll a double to win a prize". On the left of the 'Get Out Of Jail' game play window are two gold dice (the 'Bonus Dice'), and above the Bonus Dice is a box displaying the words "Rolls Left: 5" (the 'Rolls Left Counter'). On the right of the Get Out Of Jail Mini Game are 6 pairs of dice. Each pair has an associated prize (the 'Get Out Of Jail Prize Table'). The prizes include an Extra Roll card, a bonus property card, a utility card, and an Instant Prize amount. You must select the Bonus Dice to continue. On doing so, the Bonus Dice will animate and display two numbers, indicated by the number of pips on each Bonus Dice, and the Rolls Left Counter will decrease by one. If the numbers displayed on each Bonus Dice are the same (a 'Double'), the corresponding pair of dice in the Get Out Of Jail Prize Table and the associated prize will highlight gold to indicate that You have collected that prize. If on rolling the Bonus Dice the numbers displayed on each Bonus Dice are not the same, then the message "No win" will appear below the Bonus Dice. Once You have rolled the Bonus Dice 5 times a CONTINUE button will appear, which You must select to return to the main game.

- If Your Token lands on a utility square, the relevant utility will be displayed and move into the Prize Game Panel. If You collect both the Water Works and the Electric Company utilities, either by landing on a utility square or collecting a utility card in the 'Hi-Lo' mini game, 'Free Parking'' mini game or 'Get Out Of Jail' mini game, the Prize Game Panel will highlight gold and You will be presented with a window with the message: "Congratulations! You've entered the Guaranteed Prize Game! Choose a mini-game to play". Below the message are the Water Works card and the Electric Company card. You must select either card to continue.

- If You select the Electric Company card, You will be presented with the Electric Company Mini Game. On the right of the Electric Company Mini Game is the message "Select a switch to light a bulb and WIN a prize." To the left of this message are three switches highlighted in gold. Below the three switches are a grid of wires (the 'Grid'), leading to three boxes located below the Grid. Each box displays a light bulb, and below the each box is a monetary amount (the 'Bonus Prizes'). Located in the Grid are gold coins (the 'Coins'). You must select one of the three switches. On doing so, an electrical current will run down from the switch You selected, travelling through the wires in the Grid until it reaches one of the three boxes below the Grid. If the electric current passes through a Coin, the Coin will animate and a monetary amount will appear above the Coin to indicate that You have won that amount. On reaching one of the boxes, the electrical current will surround the box, lighting the light bulb inside the box.A panel will appear to the right of the switches displaying the total of the Prize below the bulb that has been lit by the current and any monetary amounts that appeared by collecting Coins, to indicate that You have won that amount. A CONTINUE button will appear which You must select to return to the main game. On returning to the main game, the Prize You won in the Electrical Company mini game will appear in the Prize Game Panel, and MONOPOLY money to the value of the Instant Prize will be placed in the middle of the Board.

- If You select the Water Works card, You will be presented with the Water Works Mini Game. On the right of the Water Works Mini Game is the message "Select a tap to fill a bucket and WIN a prize." To the left of this message are three taps. Below the three taps are a grid of pipes (the 'Grid'), leading to three buckets located below the Grid. Each bucket displays a Bonus Prize. Located in the Grid are gold coins (the 'Coins'). You must select one of the three taps. On doing so, water will run down from the tap You selected, travelling through the pipes in the Grid until it reaches one of the three buckets below the Grid. If the water passes through a Coin, the Coin will animate and a monetary amount will appear above the Coin to indicate that You have won that amount. On reaching one of the buckets, the water will fill the bucket, highlighting the Prize displayed on that bucket. A panel will appear to the right of the taps displaying the total of the Prize displayed on the bucket and any monetary amounts that appeared by collecting Coins, to indicate that You have won that amount. A CONTINUE button will appear which You must select to return to the main game. On returning to the main game, the Prize You won in the Water Works Mini Game will appear in the Prize Game Panel, and MONOPOLY money to the value of the Instant Prize will be placed in the middle of the Board.

- If Your Opponent's token lands on a property that you have previously collected and is labelled as 'SOLD', Your Opponent must pay rent and a card with the word "RENT" will appear and move to be displayed in the Rent Panel. The property that Your Opponent's Token has paid rent on will then change from being labelled as 'SOLD' to being labelled as 'RENT'. If Your Opponent's token lands on a further two or three property squares that are labelled as 'SOLD', the corresponding monetary amount displayed in the Rent Panel will highlight gold to indicate that You have won that amount. MONOPOLY money to the value of the instant prize will be placed in the middle of the Board.

The Game ends when You have used all your rolls. This will be indicated by the rolls on the 'Rolls Left Counter' being 0 . A message will appear indicating the amount You have won, if any. The word 'FINISH' will appear below this message. You must select 'FINISH' to complete the Game.

If You have bought a Play of this Game and have completed a row in the Prize Table, and/or collected an instant prize from a COMMUNITY CHEST or CHANCE card, and/or collected an instant prize by landing on the Income Tax and/or the Super Tax square, and/or collected an instant prize in the Houses Panel, and/or collected an instant prize in the Rent Panel, and/or collected an instant prize in the 'Hi-Lo' mini game, and/or collected an instant prize in the 'Free Parking' mini game, and/or collected an instant prize in the 'Get Out of Jail' mini game, You will, providing the requirements of these Procedures and the Rules are met, be entitled to a Prize as detailed in the table below:
