Lucky Location

It can now been revealed that the winning ticket, worth a staggering £76,369,806.80, was bought from a retailer in the Boston and Skegness Parliamentary Constituency.

National Lottery players are being urged to check, double-check and triple-check their tickets for the chance to claim this amazing prize in time. The lucky numbers from the draw were 5, 15, 17, 37, 44 and Lucky Stars 7 and 11. Find those and £76,369,806 is all yours.

The ticket-holder has until Wednesday 1 May, 2019 to make their claim. With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket. Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk.

Under its licence Camelot has the discretion to pay prizes in respect of stolen, lost or destroyed National Lottery tickets only if the player has submitted a claim in writing within 30 days of the relevant draw. If the player can provide sufficient evidence, Camelot will investigate and consider the validity of the claim. Camelot will then determine at its discretion whether the claim is valid and is able to pay the prize 180 days after the draw.

As with all major prizes (£50,000 and over) approximately two weeks after the draw, if no valid claim has been received, the area in which the ticket was purchased is released. This area is provided by Camelot’s security team in line with its licence obligations and is designed to encourage tickets to be checked but also to enable the ticket-holder to remain anonymous if they wish.

How does Camelot care for big winners?

Andy Carter, who heads up the team at Camelot which pays all of the major prize winners, said, “Our player services team are on standby waiting for the ticket-holder to come forward and claim their prize. They have great expertise in helping winners embrace life-changing wins and making sure that they are able to start to enjoy their new found wealth as quickly as possible. They will be on hand every step of the way to guide the ticket-holder through the winning experience.

“We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings and we’re urging everyone to try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags, down the back of the sofa and anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

Winning year

The £76,369,806 jackpot is the fourth EuroMillions jackpot won in the UK in 2018, and the 12th biggest jackpot prize ever won in the UK.

In February, a £77Million EuroMillions jackpot prize was won by a UK ticket-holder, followed by the biggest prize won this year of a whopping £121Million in April. Both winners remained anonymous. Only in July, Fred and Lesley Higgins from Aberdeenshire won a stunning £57.9Million after having their winning ticket mistakenly torn in two.

As rich as…

This jackpot, according to The Sunday Times Rich List, would propel a single ticket-holder into the same league as pop royalty such as Ed Sheeran who is worth a cool £80Million. The win would also make the ticket holder richer than Welsh football star Gareth Bale who is worth £74Million.
