Best surprise ever
Mike Edwards is a devoted dad, granddad and football fan. He has also changed the lives of hundreds of young people in his community, supporting them to make the best of themselves.
For the past 15 years, Mike has been working with the young people in some of Manchester’s toughest neighbourhoods – giving them the chance to get off the streets and get involved in sport and activities, as well as encouraging them to volunteer for community events and make a positive difference in their local area.
Mike volunteers with leading youth sports charity StreetGames which, thanks to you, is supported with National Lottery funding.
