You’ve hit the ‘jackpot’ with free entry at Gainsborough’s House

For the first three weekends in December you can visit Gainsborough's House in Sudbury, Suffolk for free. It’s their way of saying a Christmas ‘thank you’ for playing The National Lottery.

Gainsborough’s House has received National Lottery support through the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and earmarked funding of £4.73 million, including a development grant of £280,700, towards a £7.5 million project to transform the House into a national centre and one of the region’s leading heritage museum and galleries.

Gainsborough’s House is one of the few birthplace museums to feature the work of a single artist. Take the opportunity to view the great man’s work, and right now, you can see paintings and drawings from the latest exhibition, ‘French drawing from the time of Gainsborough’. Just show your National Lottery ticket to gain free entry.

Gainsborough’s House is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
