Things are looking up after Samuel's bad month

Samuel Wood was having a bad month. After making the decision to leave the RAF he was all set for a new job as a factory supervisor, but then he was made redundant without any warning.

Happily for Samuel he not only collected an £88,633.70 EuroMillions win, but he also got a new job as a labourer at a construction company. He says his future has “never looked better”.

He hasn’t wasted any time when it comes to enjoying his win either. He’s bought a Mercedes E Class and he has plans to bolster his wardrobe with new clothes and trainers.

A trip to Australia to see family is also on the cards. Samuel said, "I have always wanted to go to Australia, but I have never been able to afford it and never believed I would be able to."

“This win will enable me to fulfil my dream and visit family I haven’t seen for so long. I will no longer have to wait for them to visit me – I can afford to fly out to see them – who knows, maybe even business class!”
