Life changing

Are you a missing winner from the Lotto Medal Draw?

Do you remember the heady days of summer? The sun shone down, the days were long and Team GB were winning a record number of medals in Rio. In fact, they won 67 medals in all, and then we gave away a prize for each gong in the special Lotto Medal Draw.

Well, a handful of those prizes remain unclaimed and the clock is ticking. Players have until midnight on Thursday 23rd February to come forward, ticket in hand and register their claim.

The special draw on 27th August 2016 was held to thank National Lottery players for the support they have given Team GB through playing the lottery. It created 27 millionaires to celebrate 27 gold medals won in Rio. In addition, 23 prizes of £100,000 to equal the silver medal haul and 17 additional prizes of £50,000 to match those bronze medals won by Team GB were also up for grabs.

Where are the winners?

Still to be claimed are £1M prizes from tickets purchased in Kingston Upon Hull, the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, the Falkirk Council Area, Merthyr Tydfil & Rhondda areas and South Lanarkshire. If you bought a ticket in one of these areas check now to see if you are one of our missing millionaires.

Silver medal prizes of £100,000 are yet to be claimed with tickets bought in the Wirral, the areas of Melton and Charnwood in Leicestershire, South Somerset and in Coventry.

Bronze medal prizes of £50,000 are still up for grabs if you bought a ticket in the Rotherham Metropolitan Council area, North Lincolnshire or Birmingham.

A whopping 55 Lotto Raffle winners from this special Medal draw have already claimed their prize and are enjoying their life changing win. Hopefully the remaining winners will come forward but if not then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery–funded projects across the UK. The National Lottery changes the lives of individuals as well as communities–players raise, on average, over £30 million for National Lottery–funded projects every week.
