A Coventry couple are planning a dream trip to Las Vegas after winning £1M on a Scratchcard. After recent holidays to Skegness and Great Yarmouth the life–changing win means the couple are now instead talking about Vegas and Florida.
Ian Dunn and his partner Karen McDougall won after Ian picked up the Millionaire 777 Scratchcard along with some shopping. The couple were shocked when it turned out to be a big winner.
Ian said, "I just stared at it in disbelief. We sat up all night waiting until we could call The National Lottery, wondering if this was really happening and didn't get a wink of sleep."
Once confirmed the couple started to make stateside plans for their win. "Our heads are still spinning, but the fact we are able to take a holiday Karen and I have only ever dreamed about is unbelievable. I haven't ever been outside Europe and for the last few years our holidays have been to Skegness and Great Yarmouth, so to be able to book a trip like this really is a dream come true.
"We haven't decided exactly how we plan to spend the money yet, however treats for the family will definitely on the cards starting with a trip to Disney World in Florida for the kids."
