They say every dog has its day, and for one Husky dog called Inka those days will now be plentiful. One of her owners, Marta Klosowska, revealed the top prize of £100,000 on a National Lottery Scratchcard and now plans to spoil the whole family – including their beloved Inka, of course.
The big reveal
Marta, 28, and her husband Daniel Klosowski, 24, from Leicester, were so excited when they discovered they’d won £100,000 on the Cash Pyramid Scratchcard that they were screaming and jumping up and down.
“I asked Daniel to pop to the shops after his Tai Chi session. He got our groceries but also bought two scratchcards, one for each of us, because he felt lucky.
“I was watching TV when Daniel came home and after scratching his card and winning nothing, he asked me to look at mine. I wasn’t really concentrating but when I saw that I had scratched a prize, I initially thought I would win £10 or something small like that. I then scratched the prize box at the end of the row and saw that I had won a top prize of £100,000.
“I called Daniel over to check the card and we both started screaming and jumping about.”
All the spoils
Along with their beloved dog Inka, Marta, a recruitment consultant and Daniel, a forklift driver, have an 18-month daughter.
They are now planning a family holiday, hopefully to the Maldives, and Marta says she wants to learn how to sky dive.
“The win means we can do all the nice things that we usually have to save up for or buy on finance. We will be buying our car outright, renovating the bathroom and going on holiday. It goes without saying that we’ll be treating our daughter but we’ll also spoil Inka with a gold dog bowl.”
