36 new millionaires in July
July saw a happy coincidence as not 1 but 2 winners of the £50Million Mega Cash Showdown Scratchard not only won the top prize, but also decided to share their news with the country.
First, we met Shawn, who bought his winning Scratchcard just before heading out for a socially-distanced gathering of friends. After getting ready to head out, he remembered his Scratchcard and revealed an amazing £1Million prize. He was straight on the phone to claim, and you can read his story here.
Then, just days later, we met Debbie from Aldershot, who was out with husband Joseph testing his new car. That took them to a different shop, where Debbie bought her lucky Scratchcard. Debbie had a relaxing bath to soothe her recently-broken rib and, once refreshed, scratched her way to £1Million as well! Debbie’s already got some plans, which you can read about in the full story.
And that wasn’t the only good news on Scratchcards, because care worker Kirsty also won a top prize on the Cash Lines Scratchcard. Kirsty’s plans for her £300Thousand win include a new family home with enough room for her kids to enjoy a bedroom each. Read her full story.
We also got to hear how Karen found out about her Instant Win Game prize of £100Thousand. Initially she thought she’d won £100 but when she called to claim it, the full value of her prize came as quite a shock. Read how she plans to spend her win in the full story.
Karen joins other Instant Win Game players in celebrating. Somewhere in Essex, Mr D is celebrating a massive £1Million prize and planning a new car and a trip to Disneyland (when it’s safe to do so) with his family.
It was another good month for new millionaires in general, with 36 people celebrating prizes of £1Million or more. They include Mr L from Kent whose Lucky Dip on Set For Life will see him collecting £10,000 per month for 30 years. He’s hoping to use the money for some amazing holidays – again, once it’s safe to do so.
