Check your EuroMillions tickets, you might be our winner

One lucky player in the UK is now a multi-millionaire, but its seems they haven’t realised yet. A claim is yet to be staked for the staggering £123,458,008 EuroMillions jackpot, and we can’t wait to hand over the money.

The ticket, we can reveal, was bought at a National Lottery retailer (rather than online). So, did you pop out for a packet of crisps and a EuroMillions ticket before the draw? If you did then search your lucky hiding spot, rifle through your bag and check those numbers – you could be our winner.

In the draw on Tuesday 11th June 2019, the winning numbers were 25, 27, 39, 42 and 46 with Lucky Stars 11 and 12. The huge prize was won by a single ticket-holder but there is no information on whether this is an individual or a syndicate win.

The £123,458,008 jackpot win places the ticket-holder third in The National Lottery Rich List. A single ticket-holder would instantly leap into equal 964th place in The Sunday Times Rich List and have a fortune to rival golfer Rory McIlroy’s £138 million.

Andy Carter, The National Lottery’s Senior Winners’ Advisor said “It seems this massive winner might not be aware they are one of the biggest National Lottery winners ever. A week has slipped by with them going about their everyday routine completely unaware of their amazing change in fortune.”

The UK is having a great year for EuroMillions winners. Patrick and Frances Connolly from Northern Ireland won £114.9 million on New Year’s Day, Ade Goodchild won £71 million in March and an anonymous player scooped £35.2 million in April.

Every week National Lottery players generate £30 million for good causes across the UK, from funding the arts through to grassroots sport.
