National Lottery players help Taylor throw everything at Paris Olympics

English hammer thrower Taylor Campbell has thanked National Lottery players for their support as he begins his build up to next year’s Olympic Games.

Taylor, 27, said, “I want to say a big thank you to everyone who plays The National Lottery. Without you I wouldn’t be where I am today. And I wouldn’t have the opportunity to push towards Paris 2024.”

Taylor fell in love with hammer throwing 15 years ago after trying running and jumping. He said, “It’s the complexity between the technique and the strength that really took my interest and I haven’t stopped since.

“During injury there’s loads of times when it’s very difficult, but I just keep really trying and keep working tirelessly to find ways around it.”
