Good Causes

How National Lottery players are helping out

Whether it's delivering food parcels to families, tackling isolation by having regular chats with elderly people or keeping young people motivated during lockdown, the diverse projects supported by you are helping some of the UK’s most vulnerable people deal with the coronavirus outbreak.

Intercultural Youth Scotland is a good example of the way people are rising to the challenge. It has moved most of its activities for young Black, Asian and minority ethinic (BAME) people online – everything from open mic sessions to mentoring. And in Northern Ireland, the Dungannon MS Support Group is offering online physiotherapy sessions to help people with Multiple sclerosis in their own homes.

Thanks to you, up to £600Million is now available from The National Lottery to help projects combat the impact of coronavirus. To see how some of them are rising to the challenge, watch our new TV ad here...

Thank you for helping to support millions of acts of kindness.
