The new millionaire, or millionaires, sit 6th in the National Lottery Rich List and now has a fortune to rival F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton who is ‘only’ worth £88M.*

This is the third, and biggest, EuroMillions jackpot won in the UK this year, and it has catapulted the winner into 6th place in the National Lottery Rich List. Top of the list are Colin and Chris Weir from Largs who banked an incredible £161 million in July 2011. The year’s biggest winners before this win were Richard and Angela Maxwell. The Conningsby couple celebrated a £53M jackpot win at the end of March.

It isn’t just Lewis Hamilton who this winner will tower over financially. According to The Sunday Times Rich List after years of pop stardom, Gary Barlow has £65M in the bank and Coldplay’s Chris Martin £52M. Wayne Rooney is worth £72M, Wimbledon winner Andy Murray has £48M and multiple Major winner Rory McIlroy has a mere £38M in the bank.
