November's Mega Friday winner – laughing all the way to the bank
A pizza restaurant manager spent most of Friday night in fits of laughter after becoming the latest EuroMillions Mega Friday winner. Michael Marshall has won a life-changing £1 million and a trip of a life time Down Under.
The unique prize was one of ten available in the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on Friday 28th November 2014. The special draws create multiple millionaires and also offers amazing non cash prizes.
Michael discovered he’d won the life-changing prize after the Friday night draw and he spent the rest of the evening in disbelief, checking and rechecking his numbers with his girlfriend Kelly.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw that I’d won, in fact, I still can’t. I couldn’t stop laughing on Friday night – my girlfriend thought I was joking,” he said. “We had a bit of a late night on Friday; celebrating and talking about how to spend the money.”
The couple are planning to take their amazing Australian holiday in the New Year, when they will fly business class to Australia before spending two weeks traveling round the country visiting some of its most famous landmarks including the Sydney Opera House, Uluru (Ayres Rock) and the Great Barrier Reef.
When he returns from the all expenses paid trip, Michael, who currently lives with his parents, is planning to buy his own home as well as a new one for his Mum and Dad nearby.
