Giant £18Million Lotto jackpot claimed
The lucky ticket-holder who banked the entire Lotto jackpot on Saturday 18th November 2017 has now come forward to claim the prize. The ticket-holder is now worth an amazing £18,188,218.
The prize will be paid out at the ticket validation appointment. The ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news. There will be no information on whether it is an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased unless the ticket-holder decides to go public.
As well as the huge jackpot winner the draw also saw the game make another guaranteed UK £1Million winner in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle. There were also plenty of other winners in the draw with 89,183 tickets matching three main numbers and banking £25.
The man who leads the team that pay out all of The National Lottery’s big winners, Andy Carter, said, “It’s been an amazing year for Lotto players with numerous giant jackpots won. We look forward to helping this ticket-holder settle into their new millionaire lifestyle. I’ll ensure we have a glass of ice cold champagne ready to toast their life-changing win.”
A 'Lotto' winners
Lotto players have had a stunning 2017 with a host of giant jackpot winners. In June a ticket-holder won £21Million, in March a player won £19.1Million, in September a ticket banked £16.9Million, in August there was a £14.4Million winner and in July £12.7Million was banked.
Including the draw on 25th November, a total of 26 tickets have banked a share of the Lotto jackpot this year. And with the Lotto Millionaire Raffle guaranteeing to make at least one millionaire in every draw, a total of 117 £1Million-plus prizes have been won on the game in 2017.
Lotto, just like every National Lottery game, raises money for projects across the country. On average £30 million is raised every week for National Lottery Good Causes across the UK, both big and small, from supporting community projects to making Olympic and Paralympic champions
