Dream wedding for National Lottery winners

The couple have just returned from three weeks in Cyprus where they officially tied the knot. Andrew and Natalie wed in a glamorous service on Coral Bay in Peyia, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ceremony took place on the pier overlooking the glistening waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The couple treated their guests to a traditional Greek 18 course meal with an open bar all night long. As the sun set on a truly spectacular evening, Natalie and Andrew surprised everyone with a magical firework display. The millionaires are now planning more holidays abroad with a honeymoon to Iceland lined up and a family vacation to Jamaica scheduled for later this year.

It has been a whirlwind year for the pair who scooped the top prize on the £100 Million Cash Spectacular Orange Scratchcard from The National Lottery GameStore in February last year. When the win was confirmed by Camelot, Andrew soon found himself down on one knee at the top of The Blackpool Tower, where Natalie previously worked and where they first met six years ago. Andrew explained, “A proposal was on the cards for some time but I was holding off until I could give Natalie the wedding she deserved. When I found out we were millionaires, it was the first thing I wanted to do. The wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. It certainly wouldn’t have been possible without our win.”

In the months that followed, the pair crossed off numerous items on their bucket list. Natalie quit her job to spend quality time with her three year old daughter. They also treated themselves to their first family holiday abroad as well as a trip to New York at Christmas. The win has also given Andrew and Natalie an opportunity to support those closest to them. The generous couple surprised Natalie’s mum, Diane, by paying for a holiday to New York for her 60th birthday. Natalie said, “It has been an incredible year as lottery winners with so many highlights to choose from. It has been the best year of our lives and it is thanks to The National Lottery. It has opened up so many doors for our family. I cannot wait to see what life has in store for us as a married couple. Never in our wildest dreams could we have had the wedding we have had without our National Lottery win.”
