Set For Life win is purrfect timing for poorly pet

London-based catering general manager Sylvia, 42, and her husband Gavin, 40, are celebrating after winning the Set For Life top prize, £10,000 a month for 30 years.

The lucky pair are working on their wish list of long term plans but one thing is for certain, one of their first purchases will be much-needed treatment for their 13 year old rescue cat Phangan.

Sylvia said, “Earlier in the week we were advised Phangan needed an expensive veterinary treatment which was going to put a serious dent in our savings. Within seconds of the win being confirmed, Phangan’s vet appointment was too.”

But the kind hearted gestures didn’t stop there. With Phangan now 'Set For Life', Sylvia has been looking for ways she can help others, starting with a donation of 20 sleeping bags for a local homeless shelter who were struggling with the colder winter nights.

With such a selfless start to their win we’re pleased to hear they also have plans for an array of adventures including travel, tickets for major sporting fixtures and a long-term goal of moving to France to set up a business.

Bon voyage Sylvia and Gavin!
