Treats for family after Lotto win

A new car and treats for her kids and grandkids are all on the cards after Susan Bradley won on Lotto. The Leeds grandmother matched five main numbers and the bonus ball to bank £99,074.

Payroll administrator Susan who will turn 60 this year celebrated her win and said, "I am absolutely over-joyed. This win means my husband and I will never have to worry about money ever again."

Susan, who is married to Terry, is planning to splash out on a new car – and treat her family of four children and four grandchildren. She said, "My family is my everything and I will be ensuring they are all okay and well looked after."

It's us

It was late on Saturday that Susan decided to check her ticket. "I was checking on the television and I thought … this cannot be true – they are all of my numbers. I work with numbers all of the time but for some reason I just couldn't focus and I just kept thinking I must have something wrong. I checked, checked again and then just shouted to Terry who was asleep in the chair.

"He checked for me and then just shouted out … we are winners and there is just one winner of £99,000 and it is us! We just kept staring at the television and reading the numbers over and over again."

Susan said when she did eventually go to bed she managed to get a few hours' sleep before waking up and thinking it has all been a dream.

"I had to pinch myself – I thought – was that all a dream? Is this really happening to me? It was only after we called Camelot that we realised winning the lottery was really happening to us."

The National Lottery has been changing the lives of winners and supporting good causes across the UK since 1994. In that time, there have been more than 7,000 new millionaires created and by playing The National Lottery you raise over £4 million for Good Causes every dayΔ.
