These Account Terms (the “Terms”) set out the various rules and procedures that apply when You open an Account and use it to play National Lottery games online (including on mobile devices and by direct debit) or for any other reason.

By accepting these Terms, You agree to be bound by the relevant documents below:

Rules for Draw-Based Games Played Online

16th Edition effective 7th December 2014

These Rules for Draw-Based Games Played Online (the “Rules”) apply when You play any Draw-Based Game online or by Direct Debit. Each Draw-Based Game also has its own Game Procedures that apply, and certain Draw-Based Games may also have their own Game Specific Rules that apply from time to time.

If You are playing Draw-Based Games at National Lottery retailers, the Rules for Draw-Based Games Played at Retailers apply.

All words and phrases in these Rules that begin with a capital letter and have specific meaning are explained below or in Rule 15.

Changes in this edition

In this edition, we have clarified the timings in which you can claim Prizes won online during the Claim Period. The changes affect Rules 4 and 7.

  • 1. If You are claiming Your Prize via Your Account by confirming payment should be made to You, this must be done before 11.00pm on the last day of the Claim Period.
  • 2. If You are claiming Your Prize by phoning the Customer Care Team, this must be done during their normal operating hours before the end of the Claim Period. The Customer Care Team is now open from 8am to 8pm Mondays to Saturdays and 9am to 5pm on Sundays*.
  • 3. If You are claiming Your Prize in person, Camelot must receive the relevant information from You within its normal business hours during the Claim Period.

*Reduced hours may apply on Bank Holidays and during the Christmas and New Year period.

You now also have until the end of the last day of the Claim Period (and not only until 11pm as per the previous edition) to notify Camelot by email if You want to claim Your Prize within the 7 days after the end of the Claim Period in line with Rule 4.5. You can no longer notify us by post.
