Proof of age and residency must be provided if requested.
2) Purchase is required. A National Lottery account and internet access are required.
3) Every eligible participant who uses their online National Lottery account in accordance with the Account Terms to purchase, before 7:30pm on Saturday 5th July 2025, two (or more) entries into the Lotto draw taking place on Saturday 5th July 2025 (the “Relevant Lotto Draw”), whether by direct debit, advance play or normal play, will, subject to these Terms and Conditions, be automatically entered into a prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) to win the prize described in paragraph 8 below (the “Prize”). The two entries into the Relevant Lotto Draw may be purchased in different transactions and need not be purchased at the same time. Participants are only entitled to one entry into the Prize Draw, regardless of whether they purchase more than two entries into the Relevant Lotto Draw.
4) To buy entries into the Relevant Lotto Draw on the National Lottery website, go to www.national-lottery.co.uk (the “Site”) whilst physically located in the UK or Isle of Man, or download the National Lottery app from the App Store or Google Play. If you are not already a registered player, you will have to open a National Lottery account (by following the on-screen instructions) and add funds to your National Lottery account wallet, or you can set up a Direct Debit. The National Lottery Account Terms, Rules for Draw-Based Games Played Online and the Lotto Online Game Procedures (“Game Terms and Rules”) apply to registration, use of your National Lottery account and draw-based games played online.
5) It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure the personal details registered to their National Lottery account are correct. Allwyn will not be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of any prize.
6) Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions or the Game Terms and Rules, will not be valid.
The Draw
7) The Prize Draw will take place on or before 10th July 2025 and will be carried out using a random number generator under the supervision of an independent observer. The winners of the Prizes will be the first 15 entries selected at random from all valid entries. A further 30 entries will be selected at random from all valid entries and will constitute the reserves list.
The Prizes
8) There are 15 Prizes available to be won. Each Prize is a holiday for up to 10 people to either Florence, Pisa, Rome or Bologna and consists of (subject to paragraphs 9 and 10): return flights for 10 people to Florence, Pisa, Rome or Bologna (direct flights may not be available) from the winner’s local international airport (subject to availability) – see paragraph 9 for more information about the flight options; fully inclusive car hire (up to 3 cars) for the duration of the winners stay (see paragraph 9 for more information on car hire); 7 night’s accommodation in a 5-bedroom holiday property; a chef to prepare breakfast and dinner for all guests each day at the holiday property; £2,000 grocery shopping pre-ordered and delivered to the holiday property; daily cleaning of the holiday property (excluding Sunday); Travel Insurance.
9) The following terms apply to the Prize:
- – The Prize must be booked within one year of contact by Allwyn’s prize fulfilment agency Nick Deyong Limited (“NDL”) with the winner, is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel and may not be taken over public holidays in the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man and Italy, or between 1st December 2025 to 15th January 2026, Valentines day/weekend, and the Easter weekend. Travel must be completed by 30th November 2026 and must be booked at least 6 weeks before the desired travel dates.
- – The winner and each of their guests must hold a valid passport (with sufficient time remaining after the return date) at the time of travel. Non-UK passport holders may need a visa for this destination, which they will need to arrange directly with the Embassy of the destination country. Costs for this visa will not be included in the Prize and will need to be met by the winner and/or their guest(s). Due to the ever-changing travel advice in relation to world events, we would advise that winners look at all the information available with regards to the entry requirements of the destination you are travelling to, before selecting your dates. To understand the risks in a country, follow FCDO Travel Advice. This can be found online at www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. It is the responsibility of the winner and their guests to comply with any requirements for entering Italy and upon returning to the UK. Neither Allwyn or NDL Group can be held responsible for the winner and their guests not having the correct travel documentation or following any entry regulations.
- – The Prize includes:
- Return economy flights, including all flight taxes and surcharges as well as one piece of checked baggage per person. Subject to availability, departure airport used will be the winner’s nearest international airport that operates direct flights to Florence, Pisa, Rome or Bologna (dependant on property location and departure airport), which may not be the winner’s closest airport. Direct flights are not guaranteed. The winner and their guests are responsible for their own travel to the departure airport.
- A 5-bedroom holiday property (subject to availability at time of booking) for a maximum of 10 guests. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Holiday properties are bookable as Saturday – Saturday and are subject to availability at time of booking.
- Fully inclusive car hire for 10 people (maximum 3 cars). Drivers need to be over the age of 25 and to have held a full clean driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years. Fully inclusive car hire includes unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, local taxes and airport fees. Each driver will need to provide the car hire company with a personal credit card that has £500 – £1,000 (variant depending on company) available for a security deposit that is refundable to their card upon the safe return of the vehicle and subject to any applicable checks carried out by the car hire company.
- A chef who will prepare and serve breakfast and dinner each day of the winner’s stay. Menus will be discussed and agreed in advance with the winner, guests and chef.
- Daily cleaning of the holiday property (except for the Sunday after arrival when no cleaning will take place).
- £2,000.00 to be used for grocery shopping, plus funds to pay tourism tax payable locally to the property upon check out. Shopping list should be provided by the winner at least 14 days in advance of arrival. Grocery shopping will be delivered to the property and should be paid for locally. Tourism tax will be calculated at the time of booking. All funds will be transferred by NDL directly to the winner via electronic bank transfer into the winner’s UK bank account upon confirmation from the winner of full and correct bank details. The winner will be responsible for paying for the shopping and the tourism tax locally using the funds paid by NDL into their UK bank account.
- travel insurance for the winner and their guests. Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions need to be declared and may not be covered, and, in such an event, the winner will be responsible for making and paying for any alternative insurance arrangements.
- – All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of initial correspondence with them.
- – The Prize and all elements of the Prize are subject to availability at the time of booking. If any of the advertised destinations or accommodations become unavailable for any reason, Allwyn and/or its suppliers reserve the right to offer an alternative equivalent accommodation/destination.
- – Once a booking has been confirmed, no changes are permitted. If a booking is cancelled, no alternative prize elements and no refunds will be issued.
- – All elements of the Prize are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier of that element of the Prize including, for example, car hire companies.
- – Neither Allwyn nor any of its suppliers shall have any responsibility or liability for the acts or defaults of any third-party providing services in respect of the fulfilment of the Prize.
- – Once travel tickets have been issued, neither Allwyn nor NDL shall be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Allwyn, NDL or the travel companies.
- – All expenses not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions will be the responsibility of the winner.
- – Allwyn and its suppliers, including NDL who will be arranging fulfilment of the Prize, are not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the winner and/or their guests in relation to this promotion or the taking of the Prize.
10) The Prize and each element of the Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Allwyn reserves the right to substitute a Prize, in whole or in part, for an alternative of equal or greater value.
11) By taking part in this promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Winners and Unclaimed Prizes
12) Winners will be contacted by telephone and/or by the email address registered to their National Lottery account on or before 17th July 2025. If a winner fails to respond to communications within 14 days of date of initial contact by Allwyn, or cannot confirm compliance (age, residency) with these Terms and Conditions within 14 days of date of initial contact by Allwyn, or if the winner is for other reasons unable to accept the prize, that winner will be declared disqualified and Allwyn will attempt to award the prize to a reserve from the reserve list. Any reserve will have the same timeframes and compliance confirmations. Allwyn will make reasonable attempts to contact the winners after the initial contact.
13) If, despite Allwyn’s best efforts, a prize remains unclaimed after offering it to at least two reserve winners, or the list of 30 reserves has been exhausted (whichever comes first), Allwyn shall not be obliged to allocate the Prize but may withdraw it from the promotion and use it as it sees fit.
Privacy
14) All personal data will be stored securely and processed by Allwyn and NDL (as applicable) in accordance with current privacy legislation and their respective privacy policies, available at www.allwyn.co.uk/privacy-policy (Allwyn’s) and www.ndlgroup.com/privacy-policy (NDL’s). Allwyn and NDL will use the personal data supplied solely for the administration of the promotion and the auditing of the entries where necessary. On confirmation that a winner wishes to take the Prize, the winner’s details will be shared with NDL for them to contact the winner to arrange the fulfilment of the Prize.
General
15) Winners will be asked, but are not obliged, to take part in publicity.
16) The surname and county of residence of the winner, if resident in the British Isles, will be made available by Allwyn to anyone contacting Allwyn through the webpage: www.national-lottery.co.uk/contact-us#get-in-touch between 1st and 30th September 2025. If you do not wish for your details to be made available, you should advise Allwyn when accepting the prize. In any event the winner details will be made available to the ASA upon request.
17) No correspondence will be entered into. Allwyn’s decision is final.
18) Allwyn shall have no liability for any system failure or other action or event which prevents a participant from accessing the Site, App, their email or National Lottery Account, purchasing a play and/or accepting their Prize (including, without limitation, if The National Lottery Site or App is unavailable at any time or for any reason).
19) Neither Allwyn nor NDL will be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion or accepting or using a Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing shall exclude Allwyn or NDL’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
20) If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons beyond Allwyn’s control including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, traffic congestion, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of Allwyn which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Allwyn may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries. Allwyn reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it considers it necessary to do so, without prior notice. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond Allwyn’s reasonable control and which prevents Allwyn from complying with these Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), Allwyn will not be liable to participants or third parties for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavor to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
21) If any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part that part shall be severed from the remainder of the provisions and the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.
22) These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
