This year Test Valley Men’s Sheds were surprised at the National Lottery Awards when presenter Ore Oduba presented them with a grant to help grow their project.Test Valley is just one of hundreds of ‘sheds’ that have been set up in local communities to bring older men together to support each other and create things.
Men’s Sheds is just one of thousands of National Lottery funded projects helping older people to connect with others in their community. But it doesn’t end there, ‘sheds’ across the UK are also using their workspace for good, with many taking on projects to impact the wider community too.
