Spring loaded: National Lottery makes 31 new millionaires in March

Things got off to a cracking start when one of our players won an incredible £15MMillion Lotto jackpot in the 'Must Be Won' event on 2nd March. Add to that another 14 players who became Lotto millionaires in the third month of 2024 and you have to say Spring was well and truly sprung.

EuroMillions played its part – the game’s Millionaire Maker draws saw 9 lucky players winning six-digit prizes in March.

One of those EuroMillions winners – Marlyn Anderson from Stirling – told us her £1MMillion prize could not have come at a better time. We met Joanne Jobson, a devoted Abba fan who is in the ‘Money, Money, Money’ after winning the top Set For Life prize. The 51-year-old carer from Hartlepool said she woke from a night shift and “jumped out of bed” after learning she’d won the Set For Life jackpot. Thunderball came to the party in March with two lucky players winning the game’s top prize of £500,000.
